Description

This is a 2.7 second 0-60mph car. 600+ estimated HP at the crank. Dyno'd at 475 Horsepower at the wheels. Tuned at 'The Shop' in Connecticut (www.TheShopCT.com). Previous owner ran 2.7 second 0-60mph at the track. Even Jeremy Clarkson would be impressed. It's all tuned for regular pump-gas (93 oct). If tuned for ethanol, it could gain up to an additional 100HP. If tuned on race gas, this would be a 800+HP car and the engine would be able to handle it.Built by the best engine builders in NY/CT. Tuned by the best in CT. No expensive was spared in making a completely everyday drivable 600HP car. Our Impressions:This STI drives completely normal before 2500rpms. When the turbo starts spooling after 2500rpms that's when it goes from a regular STI to supercar status. As far as looks, the only thing that distinguishes this Subaru STI from a completely stock Subaru is the amazing sound and look of the 3' exhaust and performance muffler. But looks can be deceiving because this is a total sleeper.Interior looks like it's never been used. Since the owner only drove it in the summers and never listened to the radio or 'bumped' the speakers, it still had the cd's in the CD player from the previous owner before him. We found that funny. It's only been driven in the summer time for the last 7 summers. Has been garaged every winter. This engine is completely overbuilt. It was built in 2011 and has had 7 years of 'testing' if you want to call it that, to workout any quirks, but there weren't any. At the 9k mile mark, he took it back to the shop to check the engine over and re-torque the bolts, but everything was tight and never became loose after the build and was still torque'd correctly, which meant it was built right from the start.New cars have more recalls than this built and tuned 600HP Subaru STI. Highlights:- Only 17k miles on the motor (well past the break-in stage)- CP Forged Pistons- GT35R Garrett Turbo- FMIC (Front Mount Intercooler)- Tuned to exactly 25psi- Oil changed every 800 miles. To quote the previous owner: 'It's cheaper to change the oil than change the motor.'- Never driven in the winter.- Always garaged.About the Previous Owner:- Extremely meticulous- Sold it only because he wanted a change and got a 2014 Mercedes E63 AMG (600Hp also).- Wrote us a description of what to do and not do including keeping the air pressure in the tires at 24-27psi for optimum traction, because he found that was the best psi for this car and the Michelin tires it has on it. We were even impressed!Whoever buys this car is going to get a steal of a deal. This is supercar status for the price of a regular car! Don't miss this chance! There is only one of these and this one is unique. Call us today!
